The Travel Makeup Bag - Berlin Edition

In a couple of days I’ll be off for a week in Berlin, and after hours of extreme planning and sorting out which sights to see and which museums to visit, it was time for my favorite part: the packing.

First of all, for my skincare and body care items, I rummaged through my drawers to find any samples or travel sized products lying around. I also used some travel bottles/jars (they are leak-proof, reusable, and very easy to find in places like Sephora, Tiger, or even eBay).

Then for the makeup bag, I knew that bringing along things “just in case” would ultimately be just dead weight, so I went for those that I know won’t fail me and that I’ll actually use. Addiotionaly, I made sure that the products I would bring with me have durable packaging and are somewhat light to travel with.
I tried thinking of my everyday go-to makeup, yet I wanted to have options because there will be lots of walking around but we might be going out, too. That’s why I chose my Lorac Pro Palette out of which I can get multiple looks, a neutral (my favorite Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey) and a red lip (MAC Ruby Woo).

The rest of the things that got into the makeup bag are staple products that I don’t easily change around: my Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation that is lightweight and longlasting, the Radiant Eyeshadow Base, the Essence mascara which is the cheapest mascara I own but it's my current favorite, and an Apivita Lip Balm (these lip balms are the best for on the go and I went for a tinted one).
